Adventure Access is a Western China tour company specializing in adventure tours and outdoor experiences which include biking, hiking, horseback tours, and cultural homestays. They’re committed to responsible tourism that develops communities, enriches lives, and improves the environment. They aim to lead the way in the development of the outdoor industry in Sichuan, particularly in safety standards: many of their certifications exceed the legal requirements of the government. Led by a diverse group of Americans, Han Chinese, and Tibetans, Adventure Access is able to provide unparalleled experiences that blend quality service and local knowledge.

The Challenge

Adventure Access’ former website didn’t do justice to the unparalleled caliber of experiences they offered. Although photos of tour destinations existed on the old site, they were buried within subpages which stifled their impact. When a potential client was interested in learning more, there wasn’t a means for them to make inquiries through the website. Instead, all questions and bookings had to be handled through email. Adventure Access’ location in China further hindered their prior site. In order to access the backend of their website, their team needed to use a VPN service whose numerous steps became a deterrent to keeping the site up-to-date.

The Solution

Having seen our portfolio of visually striking websites and appreciating the multicultural experience we would bring to their project, Adventure Access knew Seadev would be an ideal partner to transform their website.

Our vision was to bring the Adventure Access experience to the forefront so that website visitors’ imaginations would be immediately energized. We utilized the company’s exhilarating drone videos and engaging founder interviews to create an instant, immersive display on the new site’s homepage. We then anchored every section of the website with visually stunning photos that are representative of Adventure Access’ available activities and destinations. To streamline visitor inquiries we custom designed an online form which has simplified the booking process.
