Work Information:

  • Compensation: Base $5,000 (90 days Guarantee) + Commission; Annual On-Target Earning: $100,000
  • Type of work: US Based Remote Contractor (collaborate with Sales Team & International Production Team)
  • Working hours: Daytime working hours with occasional evening hours.

We are looking for a Sales Representative who based in the US.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As an all-star Sales Representative, you will: 

  • Understand the complete lifecycle of a sales journey to ensure the company’s revenue targets are achieved. 
  • Nurturing and leading the sales cycle to close by adding value for the prospect comes as second nature to you. 
  • Consistently maintain the work opportunities to meet or exceed revenue targets. You are not shy; breaking the ice, adding value, and generating new opportunities come naturally for you.
  • Own every contact point of your pipeline, including but not limited to: prospecting, gathering prospects’ needs and goals, leading demos/discovery calls, drafting contracts, developing proposals and pricing, follow up on all leads (especially cold ones), closing opportunities, and creating sales and project briefs for use in project estimation and production handoff.  
  • Be the swiss army knife of a sales representative who can make deals happen.
  • Provide sales support to the Sales Director and CEO in sales functions for Seadev Digital Services and ShedPro, including sales and marketing reporting, data analysis, market research, and managing of sales tools and data. 
  • Report directly and work closely with the Sales and Marketing Director who has founded several multi-million dollar startups and is certified in Karrass Effective Negotiating I & II, Dale Carnegie Leadership, & Ziglar Legacy Certification. With a proven track record in building up teams and training up individuals, our Sales and Marketing Director will invest into training and upskilling you.

Your responsibilities in the PRE-SALES CYCLE:

  • Generate Leads
  • Cold calls that will uncover new sales opportunities
  • Attend conferences and expos to generate new client opportunities
  • Communicate with incoming inquiries generated from the website, social media, phone calls, or any marketing and brand awareness efforts
  • Market Research that will help increase lead generation efforts, competitive research, and product strategy
  • Collaborate with the in-house production team in Vietnam to ensure smooth implementation of the project
  • Be available to interact with the team during Indochina Time office hours, esp. for meetings

Your responsibilities DURING THE SALES CYCLE: 

  • Conduct initial demo presentations with optimized and high quality sales presentations
  • Strong followup calls, emails and outreach to warm prospects, or prospects who have dropped off
  • Work to understand the decision-making process for each client and gain an audience with the decision-maker
  • Create sales briefs and communicate with the production team to create accurate project estimations
  • Create and deliver proposals
  • Negotiate contracts within the metrics that will yield our sales monthly and quarterly sales quota
  • Effectively keep and update records of potential future clients to enable the marketing efforts that will increase your chances to close the sale
  • Gather and record project details, customer goals, and needs that will support a smooth transition for the production team

Your responsibilities in the POST-SALES CYCLE:

  • Gather requirements from each client to enable a smooth hand off and service them correctly
  • Support the production team to improve processes in which sales and production have to co-exist
  • Support marketing with boots on the ground information that will assist in designing the best marketing campaigns based on target audience
  • Gain psychographic insights into each stakeholder’s needs and pain points
  • Update all records of the prospects, tag and handoff to production with most of the information gathered during the demo, discovery call, or needs that were expressed by the new client
  • Support with organizing testimonials, updating sales material alongside the marketing team to ensure we develop the most effective sales scripts, followup procedures, presentations and all assets that are needed to optimize the complete sales journey

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent 3+ years experienced preferred but not required
  • We want you to be hungry for growth, if you are the right fit we will invest into your training, that will build your career in sales and marketing
  • Excellent ability to build and cultivate productive business/professional relationships
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs
  • Ability to work independently as a part of a remote team
  • Basic knowledge about website development, search engine optimization, and digital marketing
  • Organization and followup skills are a must.
  • Industry experience in the construction, shed building, custom home, or other building-related industries is a big plus.
  • Self-motivated to win new business
  • Thorough understanding of the sales funnel and the process of working leads from first contact to closure
  • Negotiate contract with prospects within the parameters of the sales quota
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and partners
